I’ve been at World Vision for about 7 months now, and it has been a whirlwind of awesome. I am seriously loving my job. It’s been super challenging – and really new for me to work at such a big organization. But I feel like I’m getting the hang of things and really getting into a groove with my team (which is also awesome by the way).
I’m also getting to the point where I’m working on things I can actually share on here as well! When I first started, a lotof my work was administrative and not really blog-worthy, but I’ve been using my creative juices as of late and I’m excited to get my most recent stuff posted.
Also, I have new kinds of things to post! A large part of my job has been to establish the social media campaigns for my department (Volunteer and Sponsor Engagement. Basically, sponsorship volunteers.) so I’ll be posting the work I’ve done for a Facebook Fan Page, a Twitter Stream, and a couple of YouTube pages. I’ve also been doing some video work, mainly for a Volunteer Appreciation week we did this month.
Finally, I’ve had a new project for the past month that I’m SUPER stoked about. I’m creating my first website!
